I had the joy of preaching Sunday AM and PM at Salem Baptist Church on Easter Sunday.  This is a forward moving church.  God has given them a burden for reaching the greater Cincinnati area with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  They are making good headway.  

Bro. Phillip Blackwell has been their pastor for about 3 years.  The church has made much progress in reaching new families.  They have also purchased an adjacent piece of property for expansion and are seeking the Lord’s guidance concerning future expansion.  Is not limited to reaching their own home area. They are involved in supporting many missionaries and praying about planting a church in northern KY.  I really enjoyed hearing Bro. Blackwell teach a Sunday School lesson from a series he is writing.

On Sunday the church house was full. The altar was full both AM and PM. God gave us salvations and many visitors for them to follow up. Sunday was opening day of their Spring Revival meeting. Services will be conducted each evening at 7:30 PM with Dr. Jim McGaughey.  Pray for this meeting and attend if you are in the area.  I am looking forward to future fellowship with Bro. Blackwell and the good people of Salem Baptist Church.
